Privacy Policy

The short version

Sploosh! collects nothing about you. The app has no network code of ours, no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Everything it keeps stays on your iPhone and Apple Watch. On the App Store its privacy label says Data Not Collected.

Who we are

Sploosh! is made by Dean Chew, an independent developer in the United Kingdom. For any privacy question, write to the contact address, once the site has its domain.

What stays on your device

Your settings, the splooshes, tracks and backgrounds you make, and your stats (how far your particles have traveled, how far you have shaken your iPhone, your favorite sploosh) are kept on your device. We never receive them, and we cannot see, restore or delete them for you. Deleting the app deletes them.

Motion

The jar is moved by your device's motion sensors. Those readings are used in the moment to move the particles and are not stored or sent anywhere.

Apple Intelligence

Mix a Sploosh, Make a Track and Make a Background use Apple's on-device models. What you describe is handled on your iPhone by Apple, under Apple's privacy policy, and never reaches us.

Your iPhone and Apple Watch

The Apple Watch app does not sync anything with your iPhone through us. Purchases reach both through your Apple Account.

Purchases

Purchases are made through the App Store. Apple processes the payment, and we never see your payment details, your name or your Apple Account. The app only learns which items you own, so it can unlock them.

No ads, analytics or tracking

The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party code that tracks you. We do not sell or share data about you, because we do not have any.

This website

• Hosting. This site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to deliver the pages and protect them from attack. We do not use them to identify you.
• No cookies, no analytics. The site sets no cookies and has no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. Nothing on it is loaded from anyone else.
• The demo. The jar on the home page runs in your browser. If you tap Tilt with your phone and allow it, your browser passes your phone's motion to the page to tilt the jar; the readings never leave your browser. The sound is made in your browser too.

Children

Sploosh! does not ask anyone for personal information, and we do not knowingly collect it from children or from anyone else.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
